BC Police Recovery Program
Complainant came into headquarters to speak with an officer regarding resource information available for their daughter who is overcoming a substance disorder. Patrol was able to provide the resource information.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was stopped for a traffic light, when Unit #1 got distracted and pressed the accelerator and struck Unit #2. Both vehicles sustained damage, but did not require a tow and no injuries were reported.
Well Being Check
Patrol responded to a business on 2nd Street Pike for a report of a male sleeping in their vehicle. Upon arrival patrol found the individual sleeping. The individual stated they had stopped to get gas and fell asleep, as they had just completed their work shift. The individual left the scene without incident.
Lost Property
Complainant came into headquarters to report they lost their passport. They believe they lost it during a move. Complainant wanted a report generated.
Identity Theft
Complainant came into headquarters to report identity theft. Complainant states they received court information with their name on it for an address in Philadelphia for a suit regarding an amount due to PayPal. Complainant states they never lived at the address and have never had a Paypal Credit Account. Complainant checked their accounts and there has been no suspicious activity.
Warrant Arrest
Patrol responded to Buck Road for a suspicious vehicle. Patrol found the vehicle and the driver who indicated they had run out of gas. A check, found the driver had an outstanding arrest warrant with the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. The driver was taken into custody, processed and transported to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Hatboro Road for a report of a traffic accident. Complainant states while driving on Hatboro Road, a deer ran in front of their vehicle and they were unable to avoid hitting it. The vehicle was towed from scene and no injuries were reported.

Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was attempting to turn left onto Almshouse Road, from Addisville Way when it struck Unit #2 which was traveling on Almshouse Road. Both vehicles sustained damage, but did not require a tow. No injuries were reported.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was stopped in traffic on 2nd Street Pike when they were struck in the rear by Unit #1 which failed to stop. Unit #1 was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was stopped in traffic when they were struck in the rear by Unit #1 who failed to stop. Both vehicles sustained damage but did not require a tow. No injuries were reported.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report check fraud. Complainant states that they placed several checks in the mailbox outside the Richboro Post Office on November 7, 2022. Several of the checks were cashed for higher amounts and to payees not known to the Complainant. In addition, Complainant found several checks that were cashed on their account that they had not written. The Complainant is working with their bank as well. Case was referred to detectives.
Lost Property
Complainant contacted headquarters to report they had lost their keys. They believe they had lost them in the area of Temperance Lane and Hatboro Road.
Theft
Complainant called headquarters to report a delivery theft. Complainant states they had a package delivered and after delivery, it had been tampered with and items stolen from it. Complainant states that their neighbor observed a vehicle driving through the neighborhood and that the same vehicle was parked in front of Complainant’s home. Patrol was investigating surrounding surveillance cameras.
Theft
Patrol responded to Bennett Place for a report of a theft. Complainant states that a propane tank and wrought iron chair were stolen from their porch, while they were away. A check was made for any surrounding surveillance cameras.
Criminal Mischief
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road for a report of criminal mischief. Complainant states that sometime overnight their tires were slashed on a work vehicle parked in their driveway.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road and Holland Road for a report of two vehicle accident. Unit #2 was stopped for traffic, when Unit #1 was unable to stop and struck Unit #2 in the rear. Unit #1 was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Information Reported
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road for a report of a scam. Complainant states they received a telephone call from an individual making unsettling claims. Complainant was able confirm that the information provided was untrue and that it was a scam. Complainant wanted police to be aware.
DUI Accident
Patrol responded to Old Bristol Road for a report of a one vehicle accident. Unit #1 failed to negotiate a right turn and traveled straight through the intersection striking a ground mounted light and knocking down a traffic direction sign. The driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI, processed and released to family.
Check Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report check fraud. Complainant states they were contacted by a bank in Cherry Hill that someone was attempting to cash a $6,000 check on their account. Complainant advised the bank they had not written the check and it was not authorized. Complainant then checked their account and found another fraudulent check had been written and cashed. Complainant’s bank has also opened a fraud investigation.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a parking lot on 2nd Street Pike for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 indicates they were pulling straight out of a parking spot when they struck Unit #2, which was parked. Both vehicles sustained damage, but did not require a tow.
Vandalism
Patrol responded to Linden Road for a report of vandalism. Complainant states that they were awoken by their dogs barking and looked out the window and saw multiple juveniles making noise, throwing eggs and spilling milk in on their neighbor’s vehicle. A canvas of the area found additional damage to multiple mailboxes. Patrol is gathering surveillance videos from surrounding homes.
Hit & Run Accident
Patrol responded to a parking lot on Bustleton Pike for a report a hit and run accident. Upon arriving the Complainant advised they found the striking vehicle a few rows away. Unit #1 struck Unit #2 while attempting to park. When asked why they then parked a few rows away from the accident, they indicated they assumed the owner of the vehicle they struck would call the police and they went into shop.
