Police Blotter 10/18 to 10/24

10-18-2021

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Middle Holland Rd. at Holland Rd. for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 rear ended Unit #2, causing Unit #2 to strike Unit #3. The operator of Unit #1 and Unit #2 sustained minor injuries.  Unit #1 and Unit #2 required a tow.
 
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Bridgetown Pike at Old Bristol Rd. for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. While turning onto Bridgetown Pike, Unit #1 struck Unit #2. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.

10-19-2021

Warrant
Patrol initiated a traffic stop in the area of 2nd St. Pike at Tanyard Rd. After further investigation it was learned the vehicle operator had a warrant out of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Dept. He was taken into custody without incident.
 
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the 900 block of 2nd St. Pike for a report a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 struck Unit #2 while attempting to pass on the right hand side. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.

10-20-2021

Theft from Vehicle
Patrol responded to Lempa Rd. for a report of a theft from vehicle. Complainant reports an unknown subject entered her vehicle sometime between 10-19-21 around 11:30 p.m. and 10-20-21 around 1:00 p.m. Medication and sunglasses were stolen from the vehicle.
 
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Deer Path Dr. for a report of a single vehicle accident. A semi-truck pulled down low hanging wires. Verizon was notified.
 
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the 700 block of Almshouse Rd. for a report of an accident involving a pedestrian. Upon arrival, it was learned that Unit #1 accidentally struck a pedestrian while slowly backing up. The pedestrian stated she was fine and refused medical treatment.

Patrol responded to Newtown Richboro Rd. at Rock Way for a report of a three vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 stated he was distracted when he accidentally rear ended Unit #2. After being struck by Unit #1, Unit #2 was pushed into Unit #3. Unit #2 sustained minor injuries. All three vehicles required a tow.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Bellwood Dr. for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 backed into Unit #2. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.

Patrol responded to East Bristol Rd. at Knowles Ave. for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 turned in front of Unit #2 causing a collision. There were no injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.

Suspicious Person
Patrol responded to Sharon Dr. for a report of suspicious male walking the property lines. Patrol made contact with the subject who was a political canvasser. The subject provided his ID. The subject was using an app on his phone to go to certain houses.
 
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd St. Pike at New Rd. for a report of a two vehicle accident. Unit #1 and Unit #2 both stated they had a green light when entering the intersection. Both vehicles collided and required a tow.
 
Strong Arm Robbery
Patrol responded to Chapel Dr. for a report of a strong arm robbery. Victim stated he met up with two unknown subjects through the Offer Up App to purchase sneakers. Victim reports he handed one subject money and the subject handed him the sneakers. When he turned around, the 2nd subject physically assaulted him. The subject brandished what appeared to be a firearm in his waistband. The subjects were described as two black males. The first subject was 5’5 about 150 lbs. in his early 20’s with dreads in his hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and Yeezy shoes. The second subject was 6’0, 160-170 lbs. with short hair in his early 20’s wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and white Nike sneakers. The subjects left in a black sedan with tinted windows.

Patrol responded to the 800 block of 2nd St. Pike for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 attempted to turn in front of Unit #2 causing a collision. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.

Patrol responded to Newtown Richboro Rd. at Saint Leonards Rd. for a report of a one vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a turn and struck the guardrail. There were no reported injuries, but the vehicle required a tow.

Suspicious Person
Patrol responded to Beverly Rd. for a report of a suspicious person. Complainant reports on 10/24/2021 around 2:40 a.m. an unknown person walked up his driveway and attempted to open his driver side door. When the subject realized the door was locked, they walked away.
 
Theft from Vehicle
Patrol responded to Beverly Rd. for a report of a theft from vehicle. Complainant reports an unknown subject entered her unlocked vehicle and stole money from inside it.
 
Theft from Vehicle
Patrol responded to Beverly Rd. for a report of a theft from vehicle. Complainant reports an unknown subject entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a Rawling baseball glove, navy camp purse, and an orange wallet.
 
DUI Accident
Patrol was dispatched to the area of Holland Rd. at Churchville Lane for a report of possible DUI. Complainant reports a red Honda CRV swerving into the oncoming lane. Patrol located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. After further investigation, the vehicle operator was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence.
