Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road and Spring Garden Mill for a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was parked on the side of the road, when Unit #2 came around the bend and was unable to avoid hitting Unit #1’s driver mirror with their passenger mirror. Minor damage was caused to both vehicles, no injuries were reported.
DUI Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a report of a hit and run. Complainant states they were stopped at Hatboro and W. Bristol Road when their vehicle was struck by Unit #1 who then continued to drive without stopping. Complainant called in the accident and began following Unit #1 and was able to get the registration information. Patrol then went the address for Unit #1 and found the vehicle with the driver still inside. The driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI, processed and released.
Criminal Mischief
Patrol responded to Torresdale Drive for a report of criminal mischief. Complainant states that an unknown subject entered their property and destroyed Halloween decorations with a value in excess of $1,000. Patrol is reviewing surveillance videos.

Warrant Arrest
While on patrol, Officers pulled a vehicle over for a violation and found that the operator had an active Arrest Warrant out of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. The operator was taken into custody, processed and transported to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a parking lot on 2nd Street Pike for a report one vehicle accident. Complainant states that they tried to press the brake pedal but missed it and hit a curb, causing the vehicle to go up onto the curb and become stuck. The vehicle needed to be towed from the scene. The driver was transported home.
Check Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a check fraud. Complainant states that they mailed two checks at the Southampton Post Office and that the payee on both checks was changed to an unknown payee. Complainant’s bank was able to stop payment on the checks. Complainant was advised to also file a report with the Upper Southampton Police Department.
Theft
Patrol responded to a store on 2nd Street Pike for a report of a theft. Complainant states that an individual took over $900 in merchandise and left the store without paying. The Complainant was able to get a picture of the vehicle. The investigation continues.

Possible Check Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a possible check fraud. Complainant states they mailed a check and Mail-In Ballot around October 15, 2022. To date, neither the check nor the ballot have been received at their intended addresses. Complainant’s bank advised them to cancel the check and notify the three credit bureaus, which they did.
Road Rage
Complainant came into headquarters to report a Road Rage Incident that occurred between them and another vehicle. Complainant states that they travel on Almshouse Road when every morning another vehicle cuts them off. Complainant was able to get the other car’s vehicle tag number. Complainant was advised to call police when the incident was occurring or take another route in the morning.
Theft
Complaint came into headquarters to report a theft and fraud. Complainant states they believe their wallet was taken from their vehicle while they were dropping their child off at daycare. Once Complainant realized that their wallet was missing they contacted their bank to close the accounts, however, during that time their account had had several unauthorized charges on it. Complainant notified their bank. Police contacted the daycare who reviewed their surveillance cameras and did see someone entering vehicles on the date in question. This case was referred to the township where the theft took place.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a parking lot on 2nd Street Pike for a report of two vehicle accident. Unit #1 stopped at the stop sign and was blinded by the sun, causing them to hit Unit #2 who was traveling through the intersection. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and did not require a tow. No injuries were reported.
Dog Complaint
Patrol responded to Bradley Court for a report of loose dogs. Complainant states that a vehicle dropped two dogs off on Bradley Court and the dogs were running loose. Patrol was able to corral one dog and call the number on the collar and found the dogs belonged at a home on Bradley Court. Contact was made with an individual from the home who indicated they would take the dogs, as soon as they were dressed.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a fraud. Complainant states that they paid for a deposit on a tattoo through their Venmo Account and Apple Pay Account. On the date of the scheduled appointment the address provided was a roadway with no buildings. Complainant was told by the payment apps that they could not do anything about the payments made since complainant authorized the transactions, and suggested they file this police report.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Old Bristol Road and Bridgetown Pike for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was stopped at the edge of a driveway when a vehicle stopped to let them make a left out of the driveway. Unit #2 was passing all of the stopped traffic on the right when they struck Unit #1. Unit #2 was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Found Property
Patrol responded to Plumly Way for a found wallet. Complainant states they found the wallet in the roadway. From the contents in the wallet, patrol was able to find the owner and reunite them with their wallet.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Newtown Richboro Road for a report of a one vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Newtown Richboro Road when a deer crossed in front of them, the driver was unable to avoid hitting the deer. Unit #1 sustained minor damage and did not require a tow.
Juvenile Problem
Patrol responded to Old Jordan Road for a report of an encampment in the woods. Patrol found what appeared to be juvenile belongings, along with some tarps and miscellaneous items scattered throughout the area. Department of Public Works was contacted to dismantle and clean up the area.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike and Newtown-Richboro Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 reports they were stopped at for a red light when they were struck from behind by Unit #1. Both parties exchanged information, but Unit #1 left the scene prior to police arrival. Unit #2 sustained minor rear bumper damage.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report check fraud. Complainant states they put an envelope with a check in it in the mail box in front of the Richboro Post Office on October 20,2022. While checking their account, they realized the payee portion of the check had been changed. The original payee was a government authority. Complainant contacted the authority and was told they were familiar with the fraudulent payee, and advised Complainant to file a police report. Complainant’s bank did refund them their money and Complainant did not suffer any monetary damages.

Traffic Accident
While on patrol, officers came across a vehicle on the side of the roadway with its four-way flashers on. The driver, indicated that they had been driving when their vehicle was struck by a falling tree limb. The vehicle sustained damage, but did not require a tow.
DUI Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Bristol Road and Bustleton Pike for a report of a one vehicle accident. Unit #1 was found to be resting on the lawn of a resident. The driver of Unit #1 stated they were traveling on Bustleton Pike and attempted to make left onto Bristol Road when a deer ran in the roadway and caused the driver to swerve and lose control of their vehicle, it coming to rest on a residential lawn. The driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI, processed and released.
Fireworks
Patrol responded to Old Jordan Road for multiple reports of large fireworks in the area. Upon arrival several individuals scattered. Patrol was able to speak with one of those individuals who stated they were celebrating the Phillies with industrial fireworks. The individual did not know any of the others helping them with the fireworks. Patrol gathered what was left and the investigation continues.
Juvenile Problems
Complainant called police to report juveniles ringing their doorbell and leaving. Complainant was able to get the tag of the vehicle they left in. Patrol contacted the owner of the vehicle who indicated their son was driving the vehicle and they would handle the problem and it would not happen again.

Check Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a check fraud. Complainant states they mailed their check in a local mailbox. Complainant then received an overdue notice from the payee. When Complainant checked, the check had been cashed but the payee had been changed to an unknown payee. Complainant was going to file a fraud complaint with their bank. Case referred to detectives.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was stopped to make a right-hand turn, when Unit #1 struck the rear of their vehicle. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
