Pedestrian Stop
At approx. 12:00 a.m., Patrol observed a male running in flip flops in the area of Buck Rd. Patrol spoke with the subject who was only 14 years old. The subject’s guardian was contacted and was not aware their grandson was out this late at night. He was transported home.
Traffic Accident
Patrol was dispatched to the area of the Northampton Country Club for a report of a one vehicle accident. Due to the heavy winds from the storm, a tree fell on the roof of Unit #1 as he was leaving the parking lot. There were no injuries.
Vehicle Lockout
Patrol responded to the area of Creekside Rd. for a report of a vehicle lockout. The vehicle was opened without incident.
August 29, 2020
Dirt Bikes/ATVs, Quads
Complainant reports an unknown subject riding a dirt bike around the neighborhood on Orthodox Dr. around 12:30 a.m. the last three nights. The subject was identified and informed not to operate the dirt bike on the roadway until it was legally registered.
Criminal Mischief
Patrol responded to a residence on Norwood Place for a report of vehicles being egged. Complainant reports over the last few days their cars have been “egged and cheesed” several times. Patrol to conduct extra patrol checks in the area.
Scam
Complainant reports receiving a phone call from Publisher’s Clearing House stating she won 10 Million Dollars, but would only be able to collect her prize after giving them $500 in gift cards. Complainant realized this was a scam and wanted the Police to be aware.
Disabled Vehicle
Patrol responded to Almshouse Rd. for a report of a disabled vehicle. Patrol spoke with vehicle owner who stated his vehicle just stopped running. Patrol assisted with arranging a tow to take the vehicle back to the property owner’s address.
August 30, 2020
Traffic Accident
Patrol observed a two vehicle traffic accident at Holland Rd. and Upper Holland Rd. Unit #1 turned in front of Unit #2 causing both vehicles to collide. Both operators refused to be transported for minor injuries. Both vehicles required a tow.
Assist Other Department
Patrol assisted the State Park Rangers with a traffic accident in the area of Stable Mill Trail. Vehicle operator accidentally drove into a ditch.
August 31, 2020
Found Property
A township employee turned in a TD Debit/Credit card that was found in the Northampton Township Municipal Park. Patrol was able to locate the card owner and the property was returned.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the area of West Bristol Rd. and Wordsworth Rd. for a report of a two vehicle accident. Unit #1 attempted to pass Unit #2 striking her vehicle. There were no reported injuries.
Lost Mail
Complainant reports sending multiple personal documents in the mail to the Social Security Office in Fairless Hills. The items were sent on August 3, 2020. Complainant followed up with the Social Security Office on August 31, 2020 who stated the documents were never received.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd St. Pike at Newtown Richboro Rd. for a report of a two vehicle accident. Unit #1 swerved in front of Unit #2 causing the vehicles to collide. There were no reported injuries and minor damage to each vehicle.
Hit and Run Accident
Patrol responded to Hilltop Dr. for a report of a hit and run accident. Vehicle owner noticed damage to the rear bumper. The vehicle was unoccupied and parked in front of the residence when the accident occurred.
Fraud
Complainant reports making a wire transfer of $138,700 for settlement on a house. It appears the wire transfer was made to the wrong address. The funds were already accepted and unable to be retrieved at this time.
Aggravated Assault
Patrol responded to Brandywine Ct. for a report of an aggravated assault. Suspect attacked a vehicle operator when he exited his vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody and sent to Bucks County Prison. The suspect was charged with aggravated assault, and several other charges.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to North Friesland Dr. for a report of a vehicle vs. an animal. There were no reported injuries and minor damage.
