Criminal Mischief
Patrol responded to a neighborhood off of Old Jacksonville Rd. for a report of a criminal mischief. Complainant reports that an unknown subject smashed the windshield of his backhoe. The estimated damage to replace the windshield was $450.
Theft
Patrol responded to the Northampton Township Civic Center for a report of a theft not in progress. The metal cap for the old missile silo was missing, exposing a deep hole in the ground. The metal cap was valued at approximately $600.
Dog Bite
Patrol responded to the area of Anselm Dr. for a report of a dog bite. Complainant reports she was walking her dog, when another dog ran away from its dog walker and attacked the complainant’s dog. In an attempt to break the dogs up, the complainant was bit. The dog walker and dog owner provided up to date records on the dog that bit the complainant.
August 25, 2020
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the area of Almshouse Rd. at Temperance Lane for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 was attempting to pull into the intersection from a parking lot and was struck by Unit #2. There were no reported injuries and minor damage.
Fraud
Complainant reports an unknown subject opened a credit line at Key Bank using her personal information. Complainant was contacted by the Bank stating she was approved. The Bank was informed that the complainant never made a request to open a credit line. The Bank advised the complainant to file a police report.
Scam
Complainant received a phone call from an unknown subject in Texas stating that she needed to provide personal information or she would be arrested. Complainant provided some information to the caller, but then realized it was a Scam.
Drugs
Patrol conducted a traffic stop on Hatboro Rd. near Tanyard Rd. After further investigation, the vehicle operator was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
Stolen Vehicle
Bensalem PD requested assistance with tracking a vehicle stolen from PARX casino. Bensalem PD provided an area in Village Shires to check for the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located traveling in the area of West Village. A traffic stop was conducted and the vehicle operator was taken into custody. Bensalem PD responded and took custody of the subject.
Warrant
Patrol responded to Tapestry for a report of a suspicious vehicle. After further investigation, the vehicle operator was taken into custody for a warrant out of Bucks County. The warrant was for failure to appear for a simple assault charge.
August 26, 2020
Warrant
Suspect was processed at our HQ for a retail theft. A warrant hit came back for the suspect for failing to appear for a simple assault charge out of Montgomery County.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the 400 block of Bustleton Pike for a report of a vehicle vs. animal. Unit #1 stated she was traveling on Bustleton Pike when an animal ran into the roadway and struck her vehicle. The animal ran off after striking the vehicle. There were no reported injuries and minor damage.
Wires Down
Patrol responded to Upper Holland Rd. for a report of wires down on the sidewalk. Patrol located the down wire and contacted Verizon to secure their wire.
Disabled Vehicle
Patrol observed a vehicle on the side of West Bristol Rd. with the four way flashes on. The vehicle operator stated he was having electrical issues and was arranging a tow. A short time later, the vehicle operator was able to get his vehicle to start and he left the area.

Graffiti
Patrol responded to Tapestry for a report of graffiti sprayed on the playground. An unknown subject sprayed painted the basketball court and some of the items on the playground.
Scam
Complainant reports receiving a phone call from an unknown subject claiming to be a representative from Amazon. The unknown subject advised the complainant they would need to provide their bank information to settle a fraudulent purchase on their account. The complainant recognized this was a scam and did not provide any further information.
Fraud
Complainant reports an unknown subject opened an account with AT&T using his personal information. Complainant reports he was attempting to apply for a loan, when he was alerted his credit score was low due to having a past balance of $1500.00 with AT&T.
Missing Child
Patrol responded for a report of a missing 5 year old. Upon arrival, Patrol and neighbors searched the area. A short time later, the 5 year old was located on a playground.
