Patrol conducted a traffic stop in the area of Buck Rd. and Holland Rd. for speeding. While the vehicle was coming to a stop, the passenger threw a white bag out the window. After further investigation, the passenger was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance.

 

Patrol responded to West Bristol Rd. at Jacksonville Rd. for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 stated she was preparing to turn right onto West Bristol Rd. when a bug flew in her face causing her to collide with Unit #2. The operator of Unit #2 sustained minor injuries. Both vehicles required a tow.

 

Patrol responded to Hatboro Rd. at Bobbie Dr. for a report of a two vehicle accident. Unit #1 swerved into the oncoming lane of travel causing a collision with Unit #2. There were no reported injuries, but Unit #2 required a tow. The operator of Unit #1 was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

 

Patrol responded to a residence off Ross Rd. for a report of a vehicle on fire in the driveway. Upon arrival, Patrol observed flames under and around the wheel well of the vehicle. Northampton Fire Dept. arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.

Patrol responded to a parking lot off Bustleton Pike for a report of a traffic accident. Unit #1 described as a white pick up truck struck Unit #2 while exiting a parking space and left the area. There were no reported injuries. Unit #2 sustained minor damage.

 

Patrol was stationary on Hatboro Rd. at Kings Way assisting DPW with keeping the road closed while paving operations took place. A landscape truck drove past the road closure sign and was stopped by Patrol. After further investigation, the vehicle operator was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance.

 

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the area of Buck Rd. and Elaine Dr. for the report of a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1’s vehicle slipped on wet ground while negotiating a curve and entered the oncoming lane striking Unit #2. There were no reported injuries. Unit #1 required a tow.

Patrol responded to a residence off Rotterdam Dr. West for a report of a fire. Complainant reports an iPhone charger was very hot and began sparking. The complainant removed the charger from the outlet and ignited a small portion of their mattress. The fire was extinguished prior to our arrival.

 

Patrol responded to a residence for a report of a Simple Assault. A subject was taken into custody.

Patrol responded to Whitehurst Dr. for a report of a hit and run accident. Unit #2’s vehicle was struck sometime overnight. There was minor damage to the rear signal and bumper.

Patrol responded to the Industrial Park off Railroad Dr. for a report of an attempted theft. Complainant reports through his camera system he observed a subject looking through some stuff on his business property, but was unsure if anything was taken. The business owner stated he would follow up if there were missing items.

 

Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike at Lower Holland Rd. for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 rear ended Unit #2. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.
