Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to Thoroughbred Drive for a report of a solicitor. Complainant states the individual was soliciting for EcoSmart and did not have a permit. Patrol located the solicitor, who in fact, did not have a permit. The individual was issued a Township Violation for Soliciting without a Permit.
DUI Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Elm Avenue between Aqua Drive and Cameron Drive for a report of a pedestrian struck. Upon arrival patrol spoke with the individual struck, who was on a bicycle, Unit #2. Unit #2 was traveling on Elm Avenue when it was struck from behind by Unit #1. Unit #2’s operator was thrown from the bicycle and was injured and transported to St. Mary Medical Center. In speaking with the operator of Unit #1, the determination was made that the operator may be under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody and processed.

Criminal Mischief
Patrol responded to Rotterdam Drive East for a report of vandalism. Complainant states that their vehicle was scratched sometime during the night.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike and Windsor Drive for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on 2nd Street Pike when Unit #2 slowed down to make a turn and in attempting to avoid hitting Unit #2, Unit #1 struck a curb and then hit Unit #2. Unit #1 was towed from the scene; no injuries were reported.
Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to Cypress Circle for a report of a solicitor. Complainant states an individual wearing an Ecoshield shirt was soliciting without a permit. Patrol located the individual, who in fact, was soliciting without a permit, a Township violation was issued and the individual was instructed on how to obtain a permit.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 had just turned onto 2nd Street Pike from Almshouse Road, when it drifted into Unit #2’s lane and struck Unit #2. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle required a tow.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a suspected internet fraud. Complainant states while looking for an internet provider online, they came across a provider and contacted them. After providing the provider with all of their information, including a social security number, the salesperson indicated there was a $150.00 startup fee. The complainant agreed to the charge and the salesperson ended the call. The complainant believed that the company was a scam and was concerned that they gave them their personal information. Complainant had already signed up for Experian to monitor their information and had contacted their bank, there had been no unauthorized/suspicious activity on their accounts. A report was made.
Road Hazard
Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike and Green Valley Drive for a report of a gas can that had fallen off a truck. Patrol located the empty plastic gas can. A small amount of gas had spilled onto the shoulder, but was not a hazard. The Fire Department was notified.

Juveniles
Patrol responded to Syracuse Lane for a report of Juveniles riding ATVs. Complainant states there were two juveniles riding ATVs in the rear of their home. A check of the area was negative for the juveniles.
Attempted Burglary
Patrol responded to Heather Road for a report of an attempted burglary. Complainant states that while they were in the kitchen, two males attempted to enter their home, but were chased away by the family dog. The subjects were last seen traveling in a large white SUV towards Cedarbrook Drive. Area surveillance cameras are being check. Matter referred to detectives.

Identity Theft
Patrol responded to Plumly Way for a report of identity theft. Complainant states that their debit account was compromised. An unknown subject attempted to have a new debit card shipped to them in Brooklyn, NY. Complainant was able to get the account closed. Complainant then received a debit card for an account with another bank that they did not open. Complainant closed that account as well. Complainant has taken steps with the credit reporting agencies and Social Security Administration, and was following up with the filing of this report.
Traffic Hazard
Patrol responded to Bustleton pike for a report of a road hazard, a truck blocking the roadway. Upon arrival Patrol observed a Mack truck partially in the roadway with traffic cones. The driver agreed to move the vehicle to a nearby church parking lot.

Road Rage Incident
While on Patrol, officers came upon two vehicles involved in a road rage incident. Unit #1 used the turn lane to pass and get in front of Unit #2. At that point, both vehicles increased their speed with Unit #2 tailgating Unit #1. Both vehicles were stopped and given citations for careless driving.
Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to a parking lot on Bustleton Pike for a report of subjects playing the violin and asking for money. Upon arrival, patrol made contact with the violin playing subjects who were told to they were not permitted to panhandle in Northampton Township. They packed up and left.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 while attempting to make a left onto 2nd Street Pike, struck Unit #2 who was traveling on 2nd Street Pike. Both vehicles sustained damages, but did not require a tow. No injuries were reported.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Chinquapin Road for a report of a one vehicle accident. Complainant reports while traveling on Chinquapin Road, a racoon ran in front of their vehicle, they swerved to miss the racoon, and left the roadway and struck a guard rail. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, requiring a tow. Complainant did not report any injuries.
Found Property
An anonymous individual came into headquarters and dropped a wallet stating they had found it, and then left headquarters without leaving their name or where it was found it. Patrol was able to identify the owner of the wallet and make contact with them. Arrangements were made for the owner to come to headquarters to pick it up.
