Animal Complaint
Patrol responded to Watergate Drive for a report of a cat wandering the area for several hours with its head struck inside a plastic jar. Patrol was able to immobilize the cat and remove the jar. The cat did not appear to be injured and it left the scene.
Check Fraud
Complainants came into police headquarters to report fraud issues with their checking account. Complainants on July 11, 2022 mailed several checks, by placing them in the outdoor mailbox at the Jamison Post Office, to various parties for payment of bills. When complainants received their bank statement at the end of the month, one of the checks had been changed to a much larger amount and cashed by an unknown person. Complainants reported the fraud to their bank, who closed their account and is working on getting their account refunded for the fraudulent check cashed. Complainants will contact the post office directly. Patrol notified Warwick PD of the situation.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Jacksonville Road and Commerce Drive for a three-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Jacksonville Road, when traffic slowed and they were unable to stop. They attempted to swerve around Unit #2, but were unsuccessful. Unit #1 struck Unit #2 and caused Unit #2 to strike Unit #3. Units #1 & #2 were towed from scene. All parties declined EMS.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Louise Drive for a report of a one vehicle accident. Unit #1 while moving in the parking lot, struck a gate, causing damage to the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Fire
Patrol responded to Mulberry Drive for a report of a fire. On scene, patrol found the fire to be smoldering mulch. Northampton Township Fire Department extinguished same. It appeared the fire was started by discarded smoking materials.
DUI Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Jasons Way for a report of an unconscious male in a vehicle on the front lawn. Patrol found the individual asleep in the driver’s seat. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The driver, showed signs of impairment, was taken into custody, processed and released.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Newtown-Richboro Road when it was unable to stop for traffic and struck Unit #2. There were no injuries reported. Unit #1 was towed from the scene.
Fire
Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a report of mulch on fire. Patrol arrived on scene and found several discarded cigarette butts in the area of the fire. Northampton Township Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire.
Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to Watergate Drive for a solicitor complaint. Complainant states that a male was walking around the area asking strange questions. Patrol made contact with an individual soliciting without a permit. The individual was advised that there is no soliciting in Northampton Township without a permit and given instructions on how to obtain same.
Theft
Complainant came into headquarters to report a theft of a trail camera. Complainant states that a trail camera was taken on August 6, 2022. Complainant reports that value is approximately $100. Case was referred to the detectives unit.

Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to Black Rock Drive for a report of a solicitor in the area. A check of the area came up negative for any solicitors.
Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to North Traymore Avenue for a report of an unpermitted solicitor. Complainant states that an unknown subject came to their door to solicit without a permit. While in the area, patrol was stopped by another resident who had video of the same unknown subject coming to their door to solicit without a permit. Patrol canvassed the area and found the unknown subject who was soliciting for a pest company. The unknown subject was identified and it was confirmed that no soliciting permit existed. The subject was cited for soliciting without a permit.
Open Doors & Windows
While on patrol on Barclay Road, officers found an open vehicle. The vehicle appeared to be okay and nothing appeared to be rummaged through. Attempts to contact the homeowner went unanswered, patrol closed the door and left the scene.
Fraud
Patrol responded to Sassafras Drive for a report of fraud. Complainant states that they responded to what appeared to be a legitimate email from Best Buy about a billing issue. Complainant called the number given. While speaking with the individual on the phone, that individual gained remote access to Complainant’s computer, and claimed to have accidently deposited $3,600 into the Complainant’s account and needed the complainant to return the funds via various store gift cards. Complainant became suspicious after providing some of the gift card information and attempted to cancel some of the gift cards. Complainant has at a loss of $1,500. Case was referred to detectives.

Disturbance
Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike for a report of a disturbance. A customer was wanting to pay their bill when they were told there was an additional amount due. An argument ensued and the staff refused to take the original payment. Patrol spoke with both parties and payment was taken and the customer was made aware their may be an additional balance.
Animal Complaint
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike and Sackettsford Road for a report of loose cows on the roadway. Patrol located the cows and with the help of a property employee were able to move the cows off the roadway.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Holland and Hope Roads for a report of a traffic accident. Unit #1 while traveling on Holland Road tried to avoid a deer, lost control of the vehicle and went through a fence. The driver sustained injuries requiring EMS transport. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report credit card fraud. Complainant states they had recently moved and had updated their information for the post office. Complainant stated they received an unsolicited text titled US Postal Service requesting complainant confirm their identity by providing their bank card for a .99 charge. Complainant provided the information. A few days later complainant checked their bank to see if the charge had hit, and found three additional fraudulent charges in excess of $1,200. Complainant notified their bank and are working with the bank to get the amounts refunded.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a report of a one vehicle accident on Sackettsford Road. Unit #1, a motorcycle, was traveling on Sackettsford Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve. Unit #1 drove off the roadway and into the front yard of a residence. The driver was transported to St. Mary Medical Center and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Buck and Rocksville Roads for a report of a two-vehicle accident with rollover. Unit #1 stopped at the stop sign on Rocksville Road, proceeded across Bucks Road when they were struck by Unit #2 traveling on Buck Road. The collision caused Unit #2 to rollover, landing upside down. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, medical attention was refused.

Prank Calls/Harassment
Patrol responded to Ward Court for an unknown emergency. The caller indicated they had just shot their wife. Patrol on scene, secured the area and attempted to make contact with the occupants. Once contact was made, it was clear to Patrol that this was a case of “swatting”. The occupants were safe and unaware of any calls made. An attempt to track down the originating phone number were unsuccessful. A report is will be forwarded to the FBI for further investigation.
Drug Possession
Patrol responded to Brookside Drive for an unwanted subject. An individual was taken into custody for Trespassing, Loitering and Prowling at Night Time. The individual was processed and arraigned. During the processing, drugs were located and the individual indicated there were more drugs in their vehicle. A search warrant was applied for and granted. Additional drugs and paraphernalia were located. The individual was transported to Bucks County Prison.
