Fraud
Complainant contacted headquarters to report fraud. Complainant states that they recently moved from the area, but were still getting mail from their old address. Complainant reports that a Verizon account was opened in their name, using the old address and equipment was mailed to that address. Complainant was in contact with Verizon, closed the account and returned the equipment.
Catalytic Converter Theft
Patrol responded to Commerce Drive for a report a theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle left at an auto repair service. Complainant states that sometime between 7/9/22 and 7/11/22 the property was broken into and the catalytic converter stolen. Patrol observed fencing cut away to allow entry into the property.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on 2nd Street Pike attempting to make a left hand turn when it was struck by Unit #2. Moderate damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
Drug Arrest
During a traffic stop, patrol found the driver to be in possession of a controlled substance. The driver was placed under arrest, processed and released.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Buck and Rocksville Roads for a report of two vehicle accident. Unit #1 was attempting to turn off of Rocksville Road onto Buck Road when it struck Unit #2, who was travelling on Buck Road. Unit #1 was towed from the scene. Minor injuries were reported.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road and Spring Garden Mill Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Newtown-Richboro Road when they failed to stop for a red traffic signal and struck Unit #2. Unit #2 was attempting to cross over Newtown-Richboro Road from Spring Garden Mill Road to Rock Way. Neither vehicle required a tow and no injuries were reported.
DUI Accident
Patrol responded to Long Stem Lane and Tanyard Road for a report of a vehicle into a house. Upon arrival, Patrol observed a vehicle had collided with a tree on a property on Long Stem Lane. A witness at the scene stated that the driver of vehicle was going very fast when they failed to negotiate the curve. In speaking with the driver, patrol found the driver to be unsteady on their feet and slurring their speech. The driver was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment, and submitted to a blood test. DUI charges to be filed.
Suspicious Incident
Patrol responded to Municipal Park for a report of suspicious person. Complainant states that while exercising in the park they were approached by a 60-year-old man who began rambling aggressively, making the complainant very uneasy. Patrol located the gentleman and advised him to leave other park guests alone.

Suspicious Incident
Patrol responded to E. Bristol Road for a report of two males soliciting for driveway seal. Complainant states when they spoke to the males and told them to leave their property, they did so and left a card. Patrol took the card to follow up.
Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts
Patrol responded to Industrial Drive for a report of three stolen catalytic converters. Complainant states that the three vehicles were on the property since June 29, 2022 and at some point, since that time, the catalytic converters were stolen. It is estimated the value of the loss is $8,000 per vehicle.
Dog Bite
Patrol responded to Matthew Circle for a report of a dog bite. Complainant states while working for the homeowner, the owner’s dog bit the complainant causing a 1-2 inch gash. The owner of the dog confirmed that he believed the worker was done and allowed the dog back into the house, but the worker returned to the house and dog bit them. Homeowner was advised of the quarantine rules.
Hit and Run
Patrol responded to Stoneyford Road and Paddock Way for a report of a hit and run. Complainant states that while turning onto Paddock Way from Stoneyford Road they were struck from behind by an older gentleman driving a black pick up truck that sped away. The complainant was unable to get the license plate. A check for surveillance cameras in the area came up negative. Complainant’s vehicle sustained minor damage.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Upper Holland Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1, while exiting a parking lot, was struck by Unit #2 which was traveling on Upper Holland Road. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle required a tow.
Fire
Patrol responded with Northampton Township Fire Department to Meadow Lane for a report of a fire. Complainant reports that a pillow caught fire in the dryer. The dryer was unplugged and fire extinguished.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report identity theft. Complainant states they received a letter from Bank of America stating an account had been opened in their name with a zero balance. Complainant notified Bank of America that they did not open an account, they also notified the credit bureaus.

Trespassing/Prowling
Patrol responded to the local Swim Club for a report of trespassers who entered the pool overnight. I met with complainant who states they were approached by an employee who had a snap chat video of a male jumping off diving board of the swim club pool. Complainant then checked their surveillance video and found additional footage of the trespassers. Through investigation, the trespassers were identified and have spoken with police. The investigation continues.
Credit Card Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a credit card fraud with their Wells Fargo Credit Card. Complainant states they received a new credit card for an account they believed had been closed for several years. In contacting Wells Fargo, complainant was told they had received a telephone requested a replacement card. Complainant contacted Equifax Credit Bureau and had a fraud alert placed on their credit report.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Almshouse and Spencer Roads for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 while traveling on Almshouse Road struck Unit #2 when it came to an abrupt stop in the roadway. Unit #1 was unable to stop and struck Unit #2. Minor damage was report. No injuries reported.

Arrest Warrant
While on a traffic stop, Patrol was advised that the subject stopped had an active arrest warrant out of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. The subject was taken into custody, processed and released to the Sheriff’s Office.
Disabled Vehicle
Patrol responded to Grenoble Road for a report of a disabled vehicle. Complainant states that their GPS took them down this road and they became stuck on the railroad tracks. The railroad company was notified to close the tracks until the vehicle could be towed from the scene.
Juveniles
Patrol responded to the railroad trestle near Norwood Place for a complaint of Juveniles on the trestle. Patrol came in contact with a group of juveniles and contacted their parents regarding the railroad trestle trespassing.
