Dwelling Fire
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road for a report of a dwelling fire. Complainant states that their roof was on fire after some fireworks. Patrol found a smoldering sky lantern located on the roof and was able to douse it with a bucket of water. Responding fire companies arrived and checked the building for any additional fires, none were detected.
Brush Fire
Patrol responded to Misty Meadow Drive for a report of a brush fire. Complainant reports they set off a fire cracker which caught their bush on fire. The fire was extinguished upon arrival.

Fraud
Complainant came to the police station to report a fraudulent phone call. Complainant states she received a phone call from a male giving the name of “Steven Williams” stating that complainant’s grandson was under arrest and needed bail money. Another male claiming to be the grandson got on the line asking for a large amount of cash for bail. The Complainant knew the circumstances were not right and came to the police station to report the incident. While at the police station, complainant contacted their grandson who indicated he was not under arrest and had not called her. No personal information was given to the original caller.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a parking lot on 2nd Street Pike for a report of a traffic accident. Unit #1 was attempting to pull into a parking space when they struck a parked vehicle, causing damage to Unit #2. Neither vehicle required a tow truck.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a parking lot on 2nd Street Pike for a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 struck Unit #2 while exiting a parking space. No injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.
Fraud
Complainant contacted the police station to report a credit card fraud. Complainant was notified via mail that someone attempted to open an account with Wells Fargo using Complainant’s information. Wells Fargo did not open the account. Complainant advised they had also contacted Equifax about the incident.

Fraud
Complainant contacted police via phone regarding a fraudulent phone call received. Complainant’s place of business received a phone call from someone stating they were a representative of PECO and that power would be terminated unless someone clarified information. Complainant knew immediately it appeared to be a scam and ended the phone call. Complainant contacted the real PECO to report the incident, and were told by PECO to report it to the police as well.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Upper Holland Road for a report of a two-vehicle parking lot accident. Unit #1 was pulling into a parking space when they struck Unit #2. Damage was sustained to both vehicles, neither vehicle required a tow and no injuries were reported.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of two vehicle accident with injuries. Unit # 2 was stopped for the vehicle in front of them to make a left turn, when they were struck in the rear by Unit #1. Unit #2 was towed from the scene. Injuries were reported.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to E. Bristol Road and Jacksonville Road for a two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was stopped on E. Bristol Road when Unit #1 failed to stop and struck Unit #2 in the rear. Damage was reported to both vehicles, neither was towed. No injuries were reported.
Drowning
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a 3-year-old drowning. Upon arrival, patrol found the victim was awake, crying and vomiting water. The child had been pulled from the pool by their father. The victim was transported to St. Mary Medical Center for further evaluation.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road and Fir Drive for a report of a traffic accident involving a deer. Complainant reports traveling on Newtown-Richboro Road and a deer came out of the field and hit the right front of their vehicle. Minor damage was report to the vehicle, the deer was not on scene.

Theft
Complainant contacted police to report that a package left by Amazon had been taken from their front door. Complainant indicated the value was $145.00. Complainant stated that a neighbor saw two juveniles take the package. Complainant does not want the theft investigated but only a report made for the record.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a parking lot on Hatboro Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 while backing out of parking space, hit Unit #2 who was traveling in the parking lot. Minor damage was reported, no injuries were reported.
DUI Arrest
While on patrol, an officer observed a vehicle fail to maintain its lane of travel, as well as other traffic violations. Officers initiated a traffic stop and the operator was found to be driving under the influence. The operator was taken to headquarters where they were processed and returned to their residence. Charges to be filed.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report receiving an email stating that a checking account being opened at Capital One in their name. Complainant contacted Capital One to advise it was not opened by them, the account was immediately closed. Complainant stated that Capital One Fraud Department would be in touch with them within 7-10 days and they wanted a police report on file.
Dog Bite
Patrol responded to Rock Way for a report of a dog bite. Complainant states that while walking their dog, a woman with 2 white fluffy dogs, that were off leash, came up to them and their dog and the animals started fighting. While trying to separate the dogs, complainant was bit and received a puncture wound to their calf, however, they were unable to be sure which dog bit them. Both owners were advised of the quarantine process required.
Hit & Run
Patrol responded to Tree Bark Lane for a reported of a hit and run. Complainant states that some time overnight, their vehicle was struck and the rear bumper damaged. Complainant reviewed their surveillance footage and found that vehicle pulled up and then rolled back into complainant’s vehicle. Complainant checked with their neighbor, who indicated they have received a Doordash delivery. Patrol attempted to contact a Doordash representative to ascertain who the delivery driver was, patrol is waiting for a return call with the information.
Stuck Cat
Complainant contacted police to report their cat was stuck in a storm drain. Patrol responded to E. Elizabeth Lane and with the help of complainant’s son patrol was able to free the cat without incident.
