Suspicious Vehicle
Patrol responded to Gelder Drive for a report of a suspicious vehicle. When patrol arrived on scene the vehicle was gone, a canvass of the area did not locate the vehicle.
Arrest Warrant
Patrol responded to Tanyard Road for a medical emergency. Upon further investigation it was found that the Complainant had an active warrant out of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas, Sheriff’s Office. Complainant was taken into custody for processing.
Accident
Patrol responded to the intersection of Routes 232 and 332 for a report of a two-vehicle accident. While stopped at a red light, Unit #2 was struck by Unit #1 who was backing up in order to get into another lane. Both vehicles were driven from the scene, no injuries were reported.
Hit and Run
Patrol responded to Newtown Richboro Road and Fir Drive for a report of property damage. Upon arrival it was observed that a PECO Pole had been damaged and wires were down. A witness was not able to identify the striking vehicle. The roads were closed for safety until the wires could be removed.
Accident
Patrol responded to Middle Holland Road and Averstone Ct. for a report of an accident involving a motor vehicle and bicycle. Upon arrival patrol found the bicyclist, Unit #1 had attempted to cross the roadway and struck Unit #2, Unit #2 attempted to swerve to avoid the collision, but was unable to. The bicyclist was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment. Both the bicycle and vehicle sustained damage.
Accident
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road and Holland Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. While Unit #2 was stopped for a red traffic light, it was struck in the rear when Unit #1 failed to stop. Minor damage was reported, neither vehicle required a tow. No injuries were reported.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for report of a traffic accident. Unit #1 attempted to pass Unit #2, a trash truck which was stationery, when Unit #1 struck Unit #2. Unit #1 was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Fraud 22-06014
Complainant contacted the police to report a fraudulent Venmo transaction. Complainant had been in contact with a vendor to purchase a kitten. The complainant sent a large Venmo payment to the vendor. After the vendor received the payment, contact ceased and no kitten was delivered. Upon contacting Venmo, complainant was advised that there was nothing they could do. Officer will follow up.
Warrant Arrest
Defendant turned themselves in for an arrest warrant to our HQ. Defendant was processed, where an additional arrest warrant for a probation violation came to light. Custody of defendant was transferred to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike and Tanyard Road for a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 attempted to turn left onto Bustleton Pike when it struck Unit #2 who was traveling on Bustleton Pike. Neither vehicle required a tow and no injuries were reported.
Suspicious Vehicle
Patrol responded to Rotterdam West for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival patrol spoke with the driver of the vehicle who indicated they were having electrical issues with the vehicle and were awaiting family.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a two-vehicle accident on Buck Road. Unit #1 was stopped in traffic, when Unit # 2 struck Unit #1 in the rear, causing minor damage to both vehicles. Neither vehicle was towed and no injuries were reported.
Dog Bite
Patrol responded to Spruce Drive for a report of a dog bite. Complainant indicates that while walking the evening before, their dog was attacked by an unknown dog and bit multiples times requiring surgery and stitches. The attacking dog owner contacted the complainant regarding the incident. A Township Ordinance violation has been filed.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Buck Road and Rocksville Road for a report of a traffic accident. Unit # 1 entered Buck Road from Rocksville Road and struck Unit #2. Unit #2 was towed from the scene. Minor injuries reported.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Doris Avenue for a report of a traffic accident. Unit #1 reports they took their eyes off the road a quick second and struck a parked car. Unit #1 required a tow. Unit #2 sustained damage and minor injuries were reported.
Road Hazard
Patrol responded to Sackettsford Road for a report of live wires down across the roadway. Upon arrival, the wires were observed on the road way. Complainant indicates a tree from his property had fallen onto the wires. DPW was contacted to barricade and shut down the roadway until the wires could be safely removed.
Attempted Vehicle Theft
Patrol responded to Livery Drive for an attempted theft of vehicle. Upon arrival, patrol spoke with the complainant who indicated that he received an alert from his ring camera at about 3:00 a.m. When he reviewed the recording later, he noticed an unknown male entering his unlocked vehicle and then leave the property. Detectives will follow up.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Tanyard & Hatboro Roads for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 struck Unit #2 which was turning left through a green traffic light onto Hatboro Road. Neither vehicle required a tow and no injuries were reported.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Crossroads Plaza for a two-vehicle accident. The driver of Unit #1 indicates they were attempting to turn into a parking spot and collided with Unit #2. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles, no injuries were reported.
