Fraud
Complainant came into our HQ to report a fraud. Complainant reports that he wrote a $40 check and placed it in the mailbox at Village Shires Shopping Center back in January. On today’s date, he was checking his bank account and noticed the $40 check was altered to $4,200 and also the “Pay to” was changed. The complainant notified his bank and they are investigating. Detectives following up.

Patrol responded to Golden Date Dr. for the report of a hit and run accident. Complainant reports a dark vehicle was traveling northbound on Golden Date Dr. when they swerved off the roadway and struck a fire hydrant. The vehicle fled the scene.
