Mailbox Theft
Patrol responded to Holly Hill Road for a report of a theft from a mailbox. Complainant states that earlier this morning they placed an envelope containing a check in their mailbox for outgoing mail. Later in the morning, Complainant discovered the envelope was missing and a short time later the mail carrier delivered their mail and confirmed they did not take it. Complainant contacted their bank regarding the now missing checks. A check for surveillance cameras was made. Case was forwarded to Detectives.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was stopped at a stop sign exiting a business was waved on by an unknown driver, when Unit #1 pulled out they struck Unit #2 which they did not see. Both vehicles sustained damage but did not require a tow, no injuries were reported.

Dog Bite
Patrol responded to E. Rambler Road for a report of dogs fighting and Complainant being bit. Upon arrival, Complainant reported to officers that they had been attempting to leash one of their dogs inside the house when another of their dog’s started a fight. The complainant put their leg in the middle of the fighting dogs and was bit on the ankle. Then a third dog joined in the fight. Complainant separated themselves from the situation and called police. Upon arrival the dogs were calmed down and separated in the home. Complainant requested EMS to evaluate their injury. Complainant was evaluated and advised to seek further treatment, to which Complainant indicated they would be going to Patient First. Complainant was advised of the quarantine requirements due to the dog bite and did provide veterinary information for all of the dogs.
Suspicious Incident
Patrol responded to a parking lot on 2nd Street Pike for a report of a suspicious incident. Complainant states they were sitting in their vehicle waiting for a family member to return when a vehicle driven by an unknown subject, pulled in front of their vehicle and got out and started screaming at Complainant. When the Complainant attempted to exit their vehicle, the unknown subject slammed the car door shut and continued to scream at the Complainant before getting in their vehicle and leaving. The Complainant did not know the subject nor did they recognize their vehicle. Patrol checked the area for surveillance cameras.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Buck and Chinquapin Roads for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was attempting to make a left onto Buck Road from Chinquapin Road when they struck Unit #2 who was traveling on Buck Road. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and Unit #2 was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to Signal Hill Road for a report of an unpermitted solicitor. Complainant reports a tree service is walking door to door in their neighborhood. A check of the area did not find the solicitors. Patrol left a message for the tree service about the proper way to obtain solicitation permits within the township.
Fraud
Complainant contacted headquarters to report a telephone fraud. Complainant states that they received a telephone call from an unknown subject stating that they had their daughter and would kill her if they did not send them money. The unknown subject told Complainant to go to a specific local pharmacy and withdraw $400, the Complainant then knew it was a scam. Although, the Complainant was concerned that the caller specifically stated the specific local pharmacy. Complainant did terminate the call and did not sustain any monetary loss.

Mailbox Theft
Patrol responded to Heather Road for a report of a theft from a mailbox. Complainant reports that they placed two pieces of outgoing mail in their mail box both containing checks. Complainant was notified today by their bank that an unknown person had obtained the checks and their account had been compromised. The bank closed the account and Complainant did not suffer a financial loss.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Almshouse Road and 2nd Street Pike for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was traveling on Almshouse Road when Unit #1 turned left in front of Unit #2. Both vehicles sustained damage but did not require a tow. The driver of Unit #2 did report some injuries but refused EMS.
DUI Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Tanyard Road and Bustleton Pike for multiple calls regarding a hit and run. Complainant states they observed a hit and run where a vehicle struck another vehicle and fled down Tanyard Road. The Complainant was able to provide identifying information to patrol. Patrol made contact with the driver of the striking vehicle. Through investigation, the driver was arrested for suspicion of D.U.I., they were processed and released.

Theft
Patrol responded to Parkview Circle for a report of a stolen catalytic converter. Complainant states that their neighbor saw a vehicle pull up to the house, jack up the car and steal the catalytic converter. A check of the area was made of any surveillance cameras.
Burglary
Patrol responded to Hatboro Road for a report of a burglary. Complainant states that sometime overnight their office was broken into and a computer tower stolen. There appeared to be no signs of forced entry. Case was referred to Detectives.
Theft of Mail
Patrol responded to Stoneyford Road for a report of a mail theft. Complainant states that they had seen a vehicle pull up to their mailbox and steal the outgoing mail from their mailbox. Complainant immediately called their bank and put a freeze on their account. A check for surveillance cameras was made. Case was referred to Detectives.
Theft
Patrol responded to Bennett Place for a report of catalytic converter theft. Complainant states that sometime overnight the catalytic converter on their vehicle was stolen. Patrol checked the area for surveillance cameras. Case was referred to Detectives.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to E. Bristol Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Bristol Road when they suffered a medical emergency and was unable to brake and struck the rear of Unit #2. Both vehicles sustained damage and did not require at tow.

Scam Phone Calls
Complainant contacted headquarters to report a phone scam. Complainant states that they received a phone call from a male, saying they were police but offered no name or badge number. The male stated that Complainant’s daughter had been assaulted and he needed all of Complainant’s and their child’s personal information. Complainant believed it to be a scam and ended the phone call, then contacted their child’s school and confirmed they were safe and in class.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike and Sackettsford Road for a report of two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was stopped on 2nd Street Pike waiting to make a left onto Sackettsford Road when Unit #1 was unable to stop and struck Unit #2 in the rear. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and did not require a tow. No injuries were reported.
DUI Accident
Patrol responded to Newtown Richboro Road and Holland Road for a one vehicle accident. Upon arrival, Patrol found a vehicle on top of a downed PECO pole, the vehicle was towed from the scene. Complainant states that they spun out. At the driver’s request, they were taken to the hospital. Through investigation, the driver will be charged with suspicion of DUI.

Theft From Mailbox
Complainant came into headquarters to report a theft from their mailbox. Complainant states on March 2nd or 3rd they placed a check in their mailbox to be picked up by the postman. The intended recipient called to check the status of the payment since they had not received it. Complainant checked with their bank and found the check had been cashed by an unknown payee with a South Carolina Address. Complainant’s bank was going to reimburse them for the lost funds. Patrol contacted police in South Carolina in an attempt to contact the unknown payee.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was waiting to turn onto 2nd Street Pike, when they thought Unit #2 was turning, and pulled in front of Unit #2 who was unable to stop and struck Unit #1. Unit #2 required a tow. No injuries were reported.
Counterfeit Money
Patrol responded to a business on 2nd Street Pike for a report of counterfeit bills. Complainant sates that they had been given a counterfeit $100 on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Complainant provided surveillance of all customers who paid with $100 on that date. Investigation continues.

Theft
Patrol responded to Sunbury Court for a report of a theft. Complainant states that someone snapped off their license plate bracket and license plate from their motorcycle. Complainant last saw the plate on the vehicle on February 20, 2023, when they put the cover over the motorcycle after riding it. A check for surveillance cameras was made.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a fraud. Complainant states that while on their computer they received a pop-up telling Complainant to call Windows Expert number for assistance. When Complainant called, they were told it would cost $540 to report and would received a call from a “Shenadoah” from a specific number. Complainant received the call and was told that they had over charged Complainant and wanted to refund them $399, and provided a computer form for the complainant to fill out. While filling out the form the refund amount changed to $39,999. “Shenadoah” then told the Complainant to go to their bank and do a wire transfer. When Complainant went to their bank, the bank asked the complainant why they needed to do a wire transfer and the Complainant could not tell them why, the bank refused. “Shenadoah” told the complainant to try the wire transfer again, and this time when Complainant told the bank why, the bank indicated they may be being scammed at which the Complainant ceased activity and closed their account and credit card. Complainant did not suffer any money losses.
