DUI
While on patrol, Officers observed a vehicle with multiple traffic violations and conducted a traffic stop. After investigation, the driver was arrested and processed for suspicion of DUI then released to a family member.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a fraud. Complainant states that while on their computer, a pop-up message indicated there was a virus on the computer and they needed to call the phone number that popped up. Complainant called the number and spoke with an “Alexis” who indicated she worked for Microsoft and that the Complainant’s computer had been hacked. “Alexis” told the complainant their account had been charged $42,000 and that Complainant needed to go to their bank and remove that amount and deposit it into a crypto account, all of which the Complainant did. Police contacted the Bitcoin company where Complainant deposited the money but it was already in a secure electronic wallet which the company had no access. Detectives and the US Secret Service are working together on the case.

Suspicious Person
Patrol responded to Second Street Pike for a report of a suspicious person. Complainant states an individual has been sleeping outside in a chair for two hours. Patrol made contact with the sleeping individual who states they had finished their business in town and were waiting for their ride to take them home.
Warrant Arrest
While on patrol, officers stopped a vehicle with a known driver whose license was suspended. After the initial stop, patrol learned that the driver had an outstanding Arrest Warrant out of Warrington Township. The driver was taken into custody, taken to headquarters where a Warrington Township Police Officer came and took custody of the individual based on the outstanding arrest warrant.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Quail Drive and Lower Holland Road for a report of a one vehicle accident. Complainant states that while operating the vehicle with their learner’s permit, with a licensed driver in the passenger seat, they tried to turn onto Quail Drive but were going to fast. They struck a curb and hit a tree in the median. The vehicle was towed from the scene, no injuries were reported.

Traffic Accident
While patrolling the area of Bustleton Pike, Officers heard what sounded like an automobile crash. The Officer checked the area and found a vehicle in the front yard of a home on Bustleton Pike. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and two individuals were trapped. The Officer, requested Fire/EMS to the scene and was able to access the vehicle and begin assessing the condition of the occupants. Both occupants appeared to be severely injured. Both occupants were removed from the vehicle and transported to the hospital.
Information Requested
Complainant came into headquarters with a firearm they had found in a storage unit they had purchased from a storage facility in Colmar recently. A check of records was able to identify the firearm and its prior owner. Complainant wanted information on transferring the firearm to their name and were referred to the jurisdiction where the firearm was found.
Fraud
Patrol responded to Briarwood Drive for a report of a fraud. Complainant states that the home received a call stating they were from Publisher Clearing House and that they had won the grand prize. The caller indicated they would need to send $4,342.27 for processing fees and to mail that in check form to a specific address in Texas and to open an account with a local bank and put a specific amount in the account. All of which the Complainant did. Complainant spoke with their daughter and they decided what was occurring may be a fraud. They were able to stop payment on the check that had been mailed and they were able to close the account that had been opened.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Jericho Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 while attempting to back out of their driveway struck Unit #2 which was attempting to make a K-Turn. Both vehicles sustained minor damage, no tow was required and no injuries were reported.
Warrant/Drug Arrest
Patrol responded to W. Windrose Drive for an active arrest warrant out of another jurisdiction. The individual was taken into custody. While being processed the individual was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Additional possession of a controlled substance charge will be filed. The individual was processed and turned over to the jurisdiction with the arrest warrant.

Identity Theft/Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report attempted fraud and identity theft. Complainant states that they received a phone call from their bank regarding the opening of another debit card. Complainant told the bank they did not request nor did they open a new debit card, the bank denied the open request. Complainant then received another call from the same bank, but another location, asking if Complainant was attempting to withdraw a large amount of money; again, the Complainant told the bank it was not them, the bank denied the transaction. Complainant was also advised of a denied attempt for a purchase from Best Buy in New York. Complainant was informed to keep a close eye on her bank accounts for further fraud attempts.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Second Street Pike for a report of a one vehicle accident. Complainant stated, while driving in a parking lot, it was raining and they were having difficulty seeing the roadway, Complainant misjudged their distance and struck a lamp post. There was minor damage to the vehicle, but the airbags did deploy and a tow was needed. The Complainant was transported to St. Mary Medical Center.
Theft
Complainant contacted police to report a stolen wallet on Hudson Court. Complainant states that their wallet was stolen from their unlocked vehicle. Complainant stated that in addition to cash the wall also contained an Apple Air Tag which the Complainant followed and confronted a man who then threw the wallet out of a window and left. Complainant was able to provide a registration tag. Investigation continues.

Possession of Controlled Substance
While on patrol, officers stopped a vehicle for various violations, and through investigation found the driver to be in possession of controlled substances. The driver was taken into custody, processed and released.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a report of two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Hatboro Road when the vehicle in front of them, Unit #2, entered the left turning lane and Unit #1, struck their rear bumper. Neither vehicle required a tow and no injuries were reported.
Burglary
Patrol responded to E. Village Road for a report of a burglary. Complainant states that they were out of state for a week and when they returned they found their condo had been broken into. Complainant states that their door was unlocked and when they entered the unit they found that their gun safe had been broken into and three guns were missing. Nothing else in the unit appeared to be missing. Case was referred to detectives.
DUI
Patrol responded to Sunset Drive for a report of a driver slumped over the steering wheel. Patrol found a male and the vehicle. There was property damage to a mail box and the yard from the vehicle the male was in. Through investigation the male was arrested on suspicion of DUI, processed and release.

Warrant Arrest
Patrol responded to Second Street Pike for a report of a fire alarm. The alarm was found to have gone off due to careless smoking. While identifying the residents, one resident was found to have an open warrant through the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. The individual was taken into custody, processed and turned over to Bucks County Sheriffs.
Possession of Controlled Substances
While on patrol, Officers initiated a traffic stop for multiple violations. Through investigation, the driver was arrested for possession of controlled substances, processed and released.
Criminal Mischief
Patrol responded to Peter Drive for a report of Criminal Mischief. Complainant reports that sometime overnight their fence was vandalized, by a large section being cut out. Complainant had received a letter from a back neighbor stating they were doing tree work and would be removing fence on their property. Complainant believes the fence to be owned by them. Complainant was advised to follow up with the zoning department.
