Credit Card Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a credit card fraud. Complainant states they contacted Amazon to cancel their prime membership and were advised that they would not be able to cancel due to there being two orders outstanding, the representative advised the Complainant they would need to link a credit card to an account and buy gift cards. The individual told Complainant they would deposit money into their account and then the Complainant would need to go buy gift cards with that money, which they did and then provided the gift card numbers and authorization to the individual. The individual then proceeded to tell the Complainant they moved more money into their account and they would need to go buy more gift cards. While buying the second set of gift cards and having contact from their credit card company, the Complainant realized they had fallen victim to a scam. Complainant was able to be credited for the second purchase, but not the money they used to purchase the first set of gift cards. Case referred to detectives.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a fraud. Complainant states that while using their MacBook, it froze up and a message popped up saying to contact apple support and provided a phone number. Complainant called the number and the person answering the phone requested the Complainant download an App, Any Desk, so they could access Complainant’s phone to assist them with the computer. Once the person had access to Complainant’s phone they were able to see they had a bank app and a bit coin app on their phone and used that to access their accounts and remove funds. Complainant was given an ID Theft packet and advised to contact the credit reporting agencies since Complainant had given all of their personal information out.

Public Drunkenness
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a person laying in the grass on the side of the road. Upon arrival officers came into contact with a person sleeping on the side of the road. Once they were woken up, it was determined they were under the influence. The individual was transported home for their safety.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a business on 2nd Street Pike for a two-vehicle accident in their parking lot. Unit #1 was attempting to pull into the parking stall when they struck Unit #2, and applied the accelerator instead of the brake and Unit #1 traveled up and over the curb, hitting a sign and coming to rest on the sidewalk. Both vehicles were towed from scene, no injuries were reported.
Well Being Check
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road for a report of an older person walking on the side of the road with lots of bags looking distraught and attempting to flag vehicles down. Patrol made contact with the person walking, who indicated they were just returning home from shopping and were in no distress.
Found Property
An individual came into headquarters to turn in a found set of keys. Patrol was able to identify the owner by a fob on the keychain and reunite the owner with their keys.
Dog Bite
Patrol responded to Antler Drive to take a report of a dog bite. Complainant states they were walking on Doris Avenue when a dog came up behind them and bit them on the back of their leg. Complainant went to St. Mary Medical Center where they were treated for a puncture wound. Patrol then responded to the address given by the Complainant and spoke with the dog owner. The dog owner indicates a family member inadvertently let their dog out of the house, however, the dog owner has never had a problem with their dog biting in the past. The dog owner provided current rabies vaccination information.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Hatboro Road for a report of two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was turning left off of Syracuse Lane onto Hatboro Road when they were struck by Unit #2 which was traveling on Hatboro Road. Unit #1 was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Lost Property
Complainant came into headquarters to report a lost wallet. Complainant states they were at a business on 2nd Street Pike and may have left the wallet next to a slot machine. Complainant checked with the business and no one turned in the wallet according to the owner.

Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a fraud. Complainant states that while trying to apply for unemployment benefits they were told they had already received a year’s worth of benefits in their name. Complainant had already notified IRS and was advised to contact the credit bureaus.
Lost Property
Complainant came into headquarters to report having lost their wallet after having been at a couple of businesses in the township. Complainant was also directed to file a report with Newtown Township as she had been to business there as well.
Suspicious Incident
Patrol responded to Worthington Mill Road for a suspicious incident. Complainant stated that there was a suspicious package in their driveway. Patrol found the package and the packing slip had the sender’s name and patrol located a phone number and found the package had been delivered to the wrong address. The intended receiver sent a vehicle over to pick up the package.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of two vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Almshouse Road attempting to turn onto 2nd Street Pike when Unit #2 came straight through the light and struck Unit #1. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Both drivers reported injuries.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike for a report of vehicle into a building. Unit #1 was traveling through the parking lot when they lost control of their vehicle and crashed into the pillar of the building. The vehicle sustained heavy damage, no injuries were reported. The building was deemed safe.
Suspicious Incident
Patrol responded to Elm Avenue for a report of a suspicious incident. Complainant states they hear loud banging noises coming from the railroad tracks. They advised the did not see anyone or vehicles leave the area. Patrol checked the area and did not observe any debris.

Information Reported
Complainant came into headquarters to report that they believe that juveniles are drinking in the retention basin on New Road. Complainant reports that most mornings they find empty liquor bottles on their property. Complainant was advised to contact police when they believe there are individuals there so officers can respond and attempt to make contact with them.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a two vehicle accident. Unit #1 was attempting to turn left onto 2nd Street Pike when they made contact with Unit #2 who was traveling on 2nd Street Pike. Neither vehicle required a tow and no injuries were reported.
Hit & Run Accident
Patrol responded to Rock Way for a report of a hit and run. Complainant states that their vehicle was parked while they were working, it was hit on the passenger side. Patrol observed damage to the passenger side mirror.
