1-18-2022 10:10am New Hope Police responded to an accident on South Main Street near Rt 232. The vehicles involved were an Isuzu box truck and a Peterbuilt Trash Truck. The trash truck was stationary in the northbound lane on South Main Street picking up trash. The Isuzu Box truck was northbound on South Main Street. Due to inattentive driving the Isuzu truck driver drove into the rear of the stopped trash truck. The Isuzu box truck sustained major damage. The trash truck sustained little damage at all. The Isuzu trash truck was towed from the scene. The driver of the Isuzu truck sustained a minor laceration to his head. The driver refused medical treatment by the Lambertville New Hope Rescue Squad
