The New Hope Borough Police Department is currently investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on August 13, 2021, at approximately 1451 hours. The accident occurred on South Sugan Road near the entrance to Wawa. A silver SUV, unknown make and model, pulled out of the Wawa parking lot onto South Sugan Road and struck a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe, orange in color. The silver SUV did not stop at the accident and continued south on South Sugan Road. A picture of the suspect who was driving the silver SUV is attached.
