While patrolling the area of West Bridge Street, an officer observed a large plume of black smoke coming from a nearby restaurant.  The officer drove by the front of the building and observed the smoke starting to dissipate.  Dispatch was notified and the New Hope Eagle Fire Company arrived on scene.  It was determined that the fire was in the kitchen and the fire personnel had the scene under control.
