04-13-22 at 8:25 pm. A 48 year old male from Ambler was outside the rear lot of a South Main Street Restaurant. The male was observed by a New Hope Police Officer, on foot at the time, in the process of smoking an apparent marijuana cigarette. When the officer questioned him he admitted it was a "joint". He surrendered two more "joint" cigarettes during the investigation. The arrest for marihuana possession will proceed by summons.
