On Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 1915 hours, FTPD Officers were dispatched to the intersection of West Trenton Avenue at Pine Grove Road for a (2) vehicle traffic accident with injuries. The operator of a silver GMC Terrain SUV was traveling north on West Trenton Avenue and attempting to make a left turn onto Pine Grove Road leading into Lower Makefield Township. The operator of a red Kawasawki motorcycle was traveling south on West Trenton Avenue, and collided with the SUV.

The operator of the SUV suffered minor head and neck injuries and was transported to St. Mary Medical Center. The operator of the motorcycle suffered a severe compound fracture to his left leg. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Capital Regional Medical Center in Trenton.

Speed tests and analyses were performed. It appears that the operator of the motorcycle was NOT speeding. It appears that the operator of the SUV was making a left turn without obtaining full clearance, and is therefore at fault for the crash.
