On Friday, March 5 at approximately 9:00 p.m., while on routine patrol, an officer was driving behind a vehicle that he observed driving erratically. After stopping the vehicle and approaching the driver, the officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After speaking with the driver, identified as Lonnie Barrett, he admitted to recently smoking a joint and having a few beers. He was arrested and charged with DUI and additional charges.
