On September 10, 2025, at approximately 0600 hours, Buckingham Township Police, Central Bucks Ambulance, and the Lingohocken Fire Company were dispatched for an overturned commercial vehicle in the 1400 block of Swamp Road. Upon arrival, crews were able to safely remove the driver, who was turned over to EMS to be treated for their injuries. Crews also discovered there was a threat of hazardous materials on the truck. A reverse 911 call was broadcast to residents in the area to shelter in place. That order has since been lifted, and the scene is safe and under control. There is no longer any threat to the public at this time. Swamp Road will be closed in both directions for an extended period of time between Creamery Road and Mozart Road as crews begin the clean-up process. We would like to thank the Lingohocken Fire Company, Warwick Fire Company, Montgomery County Bomb Squad, Bucks County Hazardous Materials Team, Department of Environmental Protection, and Northampton Township Fire Department for their assistance with this incident.
