Buckingham Township Police Department received notice from Working America that they will be conducting door-to-door voter outreach in Buckingham Township starting immediately and continuing through the November 8^th elections.

Working America’s standard procedure is to canvass between the hours of 3:00pm to 8:00pm on weekdays and 10:00am to 5:00pm on weekends; which aligns with Township Ordinance No. 2021-2. Working America canvassers do prominently display a picture-identification card.  

Please note, because Working America is engaged in constitutionally-protected political speech, they do not require a solicitation permit nor are we able to restrict their door-to-door activities. However, if you have a no solicitation sign or window cling, they can not knock on your door. As always, we encourage the community to call with suspicious activity or any questions.
