The Buckingham Township Police Department is proud to announce that it has successfully obtained re-accreditation from the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (PLEAC). This esteemed recognition demonstrates our department's commitment to excellence in law enforcement and our dedication to providing the highest level of service to our community. In July of 2022, the Buckingham Township Police Department was awarded its initial accreditation from PLEAC.

The PLEAC accreditation process is a rigorous evaluation of a law enforcement agency's policies, procedures, and practices. It assesses our department's ability to meet the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and transparency. By achieving re-accreditation, we have demonstrated our adherence to these standards and our ongoing pursuit of excellence in law enforcement.

This achievement would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our officers, staff, and community partners. We are grateful for the support and trust that our community has placed in us, and we remain committed to providing exceptional service and protection to the residents and visitors of Buckingham Township.
