Theft of Dirt Bikes

On Saturday 10/03/2020 Police responded to a residence located on a cul-de-sac in the rear of a small development for the report of two stolen dirt bikes.  Investigation found unknown person(s) entered the unlocked shed of a victim and removed the two below photographed Yamaha dirt bikes.  Bike (1) is a blue 80cc (VIN-JYA3RV0384A044088), and bike (2) is a gray 450cc (VIN- JYACJ26C7LA003172).  Based on tire markings, it appears that the 450cc was walked to the street via the victim’s right side lawn.  The 80cc bike was walked through the back yard to a residence two houses down where it was walked to the street.  The bikes are believed to have been taken between the hours of 0100 and 0800 on the report date.  The victim uses a folding aluminum style dirt bike carrier attached to his hitch that he stated he never removes.   He parks his vehicle in the driveway with the carrier facing the street. Please note the distinctive stickers on the front of the 80cc bike.  Any jurisdictions with similar incidents are requested to contact the Buckingham Township Police Department.
