A WINTER STORM WARNING remains in effect. The updated forecast calls for significant snowfall arriving in bands throughout the day and into the evening hours. The most recent National Weather Service forecast calls for an additional accumulation of 12-24 inches. Winds are increasing with the potential for gusts to 50MPH.
There are no power outages reported in Buckingham. Power outages may occur as snow continues and the winds pick up. Residents should prepare for possible power outages. Report power outages to PECO via their app or 1-800-841-4141.
Buckingham Township Snow Removal Ordinance 2003-07 states “street parking is prohibited during a winter storm or during the 12-hour period following the cessation of precipitation or any other period when snow removal or plowing is being conducted.” All vehicles MUST be removed from Township roads. Please do not blow or shovel snow onto Township roads. Also, make sure fire hydrants near your home are cleared of snow.
Be sure your mobile devices and portable power supplies are fully charged.
Travel is hazardous and residents are encouraged to stay off the roads. Please allow our public works crews and emergency responders to do their jobs safely and efficiently by limiting all non-essential travel during the storm.
