Warrington Township Police are proud to announce that Warrington Township was awarded a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RCAP) grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Office of the Budget for one million dollars. Chief Friel along with Township officials have been working with Senator Maria Collett, and State Representative Todd Polinchock to help us secure grant funding for the largest municipal capital building project in Warrington Township history. "They came through for us"!
Chief Friel received a phone call from Senator Collett yesterday with the news! "We are very excited, to build this new state of the art police facility. The bids are in for the building construction with a plan to present them to the Board of Supervisors at their public meeting on August 13, 2019. Staff will now present a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors on the areas needed in the project to apply the grant funding".
This is a good day for Warrington Township!
