Shortly before 3:00 PM today police received a 911 call of a person lying face down an embankment (not moving) along Westbound Street Road at the Neshaminy Creek Bridge between Valley Road and Paul Valley Road. Warrington Ambulance arrived with Warrington Police and pronounced the person deceased. The person has been identified but we are not releasing those details until family can be contacted. The deceased is an African American male from Philadelphia, PA.
Preliminary investigative information suggests this person may possibly have been struck by a motor vehicle at some point in the overnight night hours. The Warrington Police Patrol Division, Detective Division, Highway Traffic Unit along with the Bucks County Crash Team Unit, and the Bucks County District Attorney's office are currently on location investigating. Westbound Street Road will continue to be closed for at least another hour.
