In October 2022, the Warrington Township Police Department Criminal Investigation Division, Computer Crimes Unit, began an investigation into the online sharing of Child Pornography in Bucks County. Through the investigation, Stephen Louis Sottolano was developed as a suspect in this case. On March 10, 2022 a search warrant was executed at his residence and several electronics were seized for later analysis. An arrest warrant for Possession of Child Pornography, Dissemination of Child Pornography, and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility was also served on Stephen Sottolano and he was taken into custody. Sottolano was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman and taken to Bucks County Prison in default of $250,000.00 cash bail.

The investigation is ongoing and all subjects involved are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
