On November 10, 2020 police responded to a residence in the 2200 block of Pileggi Road for the report of a forced entry and assault inside a home. The person involved in the assault was known to the victim and identified as Joel Phillip of Bushkill, PA. Phillip allegedly physically assaulted a 15 year old juvenile and endangered the welfare of a 2 year old child. The residence was determined to belong to Phillip's estranged girlfriend. Phillip left before police arrived and an arrest warrant was later obtained for Aggravated Assault and Child Endangerment. With the help of the Pennsylvania State Police and US Marshal's service, police were able to locate Phillip hiding in a home in Cresco, PA. Warrington Police picked up Phillip and he was arraigned in front of Judge Armitage and sent to Bucks County Prison on $40,000 cash bail.
