The victim upon speaking to police reported that the aggressor was in possession of a firearm. Baez grabbed his former girlfriend by her by her arms, leaving bruises. At this time the current boyfriend grabbed Baez to protect his girlfriend. Baez then took his belt and began striking the current boyfriend about his body. The belt's buckle caused a bleeding injury and raised welts on his body. Baez then ran from this altercation to the vehicle he was driving yelling he was going to get his gun, which police were told by the female victim Baez does own. Police were able to intervene before a weapon was produced - and the vehicle was checked finding a silver black handled kitchen knife that was 12 inches in length.
