On November 7, 2022 at approximately 8:15pm, Warrington Township Police were dispatched to the area of Sassafrass Court for the report of a suspicious person knocking on resident’s door and walking through backyards.
While looking for the subject, police were waved down by a resident who reported a white male wearing a black jacket with a red hood entered their home and stole their phone and a pack of cigarettes.
Shortly thereafter, officers made contact with 29-year-old, Stephen Leasa of Warrington, Pa who was in the area, matched the description, and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Leasa was searched after being taken into custody and was found to be in possession of various property related to two burglaries that occurred earlier in Warrington Township and Warminster Township.
Leasa was remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to post bail which was set by Judge Snow, $1,000.00, 10%.
