Warminster Township Police Dept -Arrests and Notable Incidents Blotter: October 2024
WT-24-12187 - On routine patrol an Officer stopped a vehicle at County Line and Warminster Roads for not having operating taillights. The driver failed to show proper identification. The 37-year-old male operator of the vehicle gave false information. It was determined through an investigation by the Officer that there was a warrant out of Philadelphia for the subject for failure to appear. The male was placed under arrest and transported back to Headquarters.
WT-24-08256 -Bucks County Radio Dispatched Officers to Sportsman's Warehouse for report of a retail theft. The 50-year-old male had showed his ID to make a return of stolen items. The male left and an Officer went to his residence to advise he should turn himself in. The male came to Headquarters and was transported to District Court for arraignment. Judge O'Neill set bail at $25,000 unsecured and the male was transported home.
WT-24-08482- Officers responded to Newtown and Coventry Lane, for a report of a 2-vehicle accident. When Officers responded they discovered a deceased driver in one of the vehicles. The other driver was a 43-year-old male with injuries; He was transported to Abington hospital. Officers arrived to speak with the male driver. It was determined after a lengthy investigation that the male was driving at a high rate of speed. The male was charged with Homicide by Vehicle, Reckless Driving and Operating a Vehicle at Safe Speed. The male appeared before Judge O'Neill and bail was set at $100,000 unsecured.
WT-24-11508 - An Officer responded to Headquarters to return a phone call in regard to a Protection from Abuse Violation. The female caller advised that her ex-husband a 56-year-old male was contacting family members with degrading and offensive text messages. The male turned himself in and charges have been approved and filed.
WT-24-12522 - An Officer stopped a vehicle with outdated inspection stickers. It was later determined that the Operator had a counterfeit PA Temporary Tag, no insurance and counterfeit inspection. The 21-year-old driver was arrested and transported to District Court for arraignment. Judge O'Neill set bail at 10% of $10,000 and the male was transported to Bucks County Prison.
WT-24-12669 - Officers were dispatched to the CVS at York and County Line for an unknown problem. When Officers arrived, they were told the vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident. The driver had followed the vehicle to the CVS because he didn't stop. When Officers spoke to the 37-year-old male he had a smell of alcohol about him. The male agreed to Field Sobriety tests and failed. Central Bucks Ambulance responded and drew blood for testing. Blood will be submitted for testing. The male will be charged with DUI, Careless Driving, Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicles or Property, Driving on Right Side of Roadway and Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.
WT-24-12691 -Officers were dispatched to PNC Bank for a report of a female urinating behind a dumpster. Officers located the 32-year-old woman and cited her for Disorderly Conduct.
WT-24-08794- Officers responded to 51 Ash Circle for a road rage incident. Both parties were in the parking lot and a female advised that the 37-year-old male had kicked her car causing damage. The male was cited for Criminal Mischief.
WT-24-12890 - Officers were dispatched to Giant for a Retail Theft in progress. The Manager advised that the 52-year-old female was pushing a full shopping cart down York Road. An Officer saw the woman and stopped her. She provided False Identification and when an Officer searched her drug paraphernalia was found. The female was placed under arrest and charged with Retail Theft, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Illegal use of a shopping cart.
WT-24-12948- An Officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle fail to come to a complete stop at Evergreen and Aspen Roads. The Officer stopped the vehicle and could smell alcohol on the driver. The 67-year-old male agreed to field sobriety testing. The male was arrested and transported back to Headquarters. At Headquarters the male refused a blood draw. The male will be charged with DUI.
WT-24-13009 - An Officer observed a known wanted person riding a bicycle at York & Nemoral Street. The Officer asked the 42-year-old male to stop and advised him that there was an active Warrant for him out of Montgomery County for a Parole Violation. After placing the male in handcuffs, a search was conducted and suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia was found. The male was transported back to Headquarters to await pick up by Montgomery County Sherriff's Department.
WT-24-13057 -Bucks County Dispatched received a call from TD Bank for a fraud in progress. When Officers arrived, they met with a 21-year-old female who was attempting to withdraw cash using Identification that did not belong to her. The female was placed under arrest and transported back to headquarters to await arraignment.
WT-24-13124 - Police responded to Windsor Road for report of a 17-year-old male that was fighting with family members. The male was place in custody and will be charged with Simple Assault, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct.
WT-24-10070 - On routine patrol and Officer observed a vehicle with a counterfeit inspection leaving Motel 6. The Officer stopped the vehicle, and the operator provided his information. It was determined that the 43-year-old operator was driving while his privilege was suspended. The Operator signed a consent to search his vehicle and suspected marijuana was found, along with drug paraphernalia. The male was arrested and will be charged with Possession of a small amount of Marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Violation of certificate of Inspection and Driving while Operating Privilege is Suspended.
WT-24-05767 - Officers responded to Aspen Grove Apartments for a report of a hit and run accident. A female had followed a vehicle that had struck her vehicle and left the area. A 20-year-old male was cited for Accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, Duty to Give or Render Aid and Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed. The other driver a 42-year-old female was cited for Harassment and Disorderly Conduct.
WT-24-13313 - Officers responded to Street and St. Davids for a report of an unconscious male behind the wheel of a running vehicle. The vehicle was stopped in the roadway and vehicles were driving around it. Officers woke the 36-year-old driver and advised they were placing him under arrest for suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance. The male consented to a blood draw and the blood was submitted to the lab along with suspected drugs. Charges to be filed pending lab results.
WT-24-13432 - Officer responded to Giant for a Retail Theft in progress. When Officers arrived the store Manager advised that the subject had left the store and was walking near Graziano Flowers. The subject started to run, and a pursuit began. The Officers caught the subject, and it was discovered that there were numerous warrants for the 24-year-old male. The male was searched and controlled substance and paraphernalia were found on him. The male will be charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Retail Theft.
