On Tuesday October 2, 2018 the Warminster Police Department conducted a follow-up investigation into the attempted luring that took place yesterday. During the course of the investigation the owner of the vehicle contacted investigators and provided a full account of what took place. At this point and time we have no reason to believe the occupants of the vehicle were attempting to lure anyone. There is no danger to the public, the case is closed.

The Warminster Township Police Department is investigating the report of an attempted child luring that occurred on Monday, October 1, 2018 at approximately 3:50 p.m. at the intersection of Cornell and Log College Drives. Two young children reported that there were two white males believed to be in their mid-thirties operating a black two door Jeep Wrangler with a brown soft top. The vehicle had a spare tire on the back with a cover that had the word "Jeep" in white with two white dog paws also on the cover. One of the subjects had black hair and one of the subjects had brown hair. The subjects looked at one of the juveniles and said, "Get in the car." The juveniles ran to safety and were not injured.
