On May 9, 2019 at about 3:24 pm, the Warminster Township Police Department responded to the parking lot of a business located on West Street Road and Park Avenue for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, Officers located an adult male who suffered two stab wounds to his shoulder and lower back. The victim was treated by EMS and transported to Abington Hospital. Officers secured the area and spoke to several witness and identified the suspect as JATASYA DOROTHY JOHNSON (18 yoa of the 7000 block of Bayard Street Philadelphia). JOHNSON was still on scene and cooperated with Police. Officers determined that JOHNSON and the victim, who is known to her, had an argument in the parking lot which escalated into a physical altercation at which time JOHNSON stabbed the victim two times with a kitchen type knife. The knife was located at the scene and secured as evidence. JOHNSON was charged with Aggravated Assault (2 counts), Simple Assault (2 counts), Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Possession of an Instrument of Crime. JOHNSON was arraigned and held in the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $350,000 10% bail. The victim is currently being treated at Abington Hospital and is expected to survive.
