Period 8/8/22 to 8/15/2022

WT-22-08371 Threats Arrest

Police concluded an investigation it to the reports of threats made via communication device by a known subject.  After investigating Police charged a 46 year old female from Bensalem.

WT-22-09278 Drug Possession Arrest

On 8/8/2022 at approximately 10PM Officers stopped a vehicle in the area of Mearns Road for vehicle code violations.  Upon making contact with the operator and through investigation the officer found that the 22 year old male from Warminster was also in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  The operator was also charged with the vehicle code violations of expired inspection, no insurance and operating an unregistered vehicle. 

WT-22-09278 Drug Possession  Arrest

On 8/8/2022 at approximately 7:30AM in the area of Sunnemeade Ave and Juniper St in the speed way section of the township, Officers responded to check on a subject who appeared to be unconscious in a vehicle.  Upon making contact with the 27 year old from Warrington he was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected heroin.  The subject was taken into custody for the possession of the illegal items. 

WT-22-09464 Retail Theft Arrest

On 8/12/2022 at 9:11PM Officers responded to the Walmart for a retail theft.  After investigating, Officers arrested two 21 Year old males from Philadelphia with the theft.  

WT-22-09312 Catalytic Converter Theft Investigation

On 8/8/2022 Police took a report of a stolen catalytic converter from a truck. Theft occurred most likely between 8/6/2022 and 8/8/2022.  Value of the theft is approximately $3000.00.  

WT-22-08474 Trespassing Arrest

Police concluded an investigation into a reported trespassing by a known subject at a local apartment complex located in the township.  A 20 year old male from Perkasie was arrested for Trespassing in this incident. 

WT-22-09466 Retail Theft Arrest

On 8/12/2022 at 9:13PM officers responded to the Walmart store for a reported retail theft.  After investigating a 17 Year old male from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with the theft.

WT-22-09482 Theft of Registration Plate

On 8/13/2022 police responded to the Warminster Heights section of the township for the report of a stolen vehicle registration plate. The tag was entered into NCIC as stolen. 

WT-22-09475 Burglary Investigation

On 8/13/2022 at approximately 846AM, Police responded to the area of the 200 block of W. Street Road, The Good Vibes Vape Shop for a reported burglary.  Upon arrival Officers observed that front door had been damaged, and entry had been made into the business.  The offender(s) made off with an unknown amount of merchandise to include, vape pens, cartridges and edibles. Some items and packaging were recovered by police nearby.  Police are investigating the matter.

WT-22- 09562 Catalytic Converter Theft Investigation

On 8/15/2022 Police responded to Tierney Auto Sales located on the 300 block of W. Street Road for the report of a catalytic converter theft from a 2001 F250 that was in the lot.  The theft is valued at approximately $2000.00. 

WT-22-09544 Public Drunkenness Arrest

On 8/15/2022 at 12:53AM Police responded to the 100 block of E. Street Road for a report of a male subject passed out between two vehicles in a parking lot.  Upon arrival officers made contact with the subject and found him to be intoxicated. The 28 Year old male from Warminster was cited for Public Drunkenness. 

WT-22-09525 Burglary Investigation

On 8/14/2022 at approximately 1050AM Police responded to the area of the 200 block of York Road, The Great American Smoke Shop, for a report of a burglary.  Upon arrival officers observed forced entry had been made into the business and some merchandise had been taken.  Police have a suspect in this case and are investigating the matter.

**** We would like to remind everyone to please remember to secure your vehicles and valuables, also many newer vehicles have key fobs that auto unlock your car doors when you are in a certain range, please keep this in mind when parking your vehicle and ensure those key fobs are stored far enough away when not in use so that your vehicles remain locked.  Doing these simple things will help minimize the chances of you becoming a victim of this type of theft. Most actors in these cases are looking for unlocked vehicles/quick easy targets that they can get in and out fast. These types of crimes tend to increase with the nicer weather.  If you happen to see suspicious or illegal behavior occurring, it is always best to call to have an officer dispatched to check the area as soon as possible.  Call 215-672-1000 (Non Emergency Dispatch) or 911 for emergencies.

****As many residents are aware a drug collection box is located at the Police Department (401 Gibson Ave, Warminster PA) for the convenience of township residents.  This drop box allows residents to safely and securely dispose of old prescription and over the counter medications.  The box is located in our 24 hour Police Lobby.  Residence should read the warning label on the front of the drop box to ensure they are only leaving approved items. These items are collected and then properly disposed of by Police.   

****  Please remember to remove children and pets from vehicles when unattended. Leaving a child and or pets unattended can be extremely dangerous given the various weather conditions.  If you notice an unattended child and or an animal in distress in an unattended vehicle, citizens are urged to call Police.
