On Wednesday, November 17,2021, at approximately 10:00 hours the Warminster Constable responded to 201 Greene Road for an eviction of the residents in this rental unit. Upon arrival the Constable found a subject barricaded in the upstairs bedroom refusing to leave. Constable contacted Warminster Police for assistance. Upon arrival Officers identified the subject as Luke Strosser(W/M/38). Subject Strosser was wanted on multiple arrest warrants, the last incident occurring at this location in late October, in which an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest for Simple Assault, Unlawful Restraint, Strangulation, Terroristic Threats, and Harassment.
Officers began speaking with Strosser, who was barricaded in the bedroom, refusing to come out and began re-enforcing barricaded bedroom door with furniture, and other objects. After several hours of negotiating with Strosser, a search warrant for the property was obtained. Officer began to clear the property as Strosser began to rant about burning the house down and having weapons at his disposal. At this time with the Strosser heavily barricaded in the bedroom, refusing to leave, threating the officers with harm by fire and weapons, the Central Bucks County Special Response Team (CBSRT) was activated to help with this incident. After several hours of continued negotiations with Strosser, Strosser exited a second floor window and dropped to the ground, where he was taken into custody for his various warrants. Strosser will be arraigned either overnight or early Thursday morning on his charges.
The shelter in place issued to local residents has been lifted. Thank you to our residents who complied and helped with this shelter in place. Warminster Police would also like to thank, CBSRT, Warminster Fire department, Central Bucks Ambulance, Bucks County Communication department, and The Bucks County Emergency Management, for their help in resolving this matter.
