On May 14, 2020, the Warminster Police Department arrested Walter Wayne Wright Jr. (B/M 42 yoa) of Philadelphia in connection with a robbery that occurred at the Warminster Train Station on May 7, 2020. On that day at about 10:00 pm, a victim reported that he was approached by Wright while walking from the train station at which time Wright demanded the victim's wallet while claiming he had a gun although no gun was displayed. No one was injured. Wright was identified and was located in Philadelphia where he was arrested without incident. Wright was charged with Criminal Attempt to commit Robbery,Robbery, Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault and Theft by Unlawful Taking. Wright was arraigned before MDJ Seaman and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 10% bail. A hearing date has not been set.
