The Warminster Township Police Department arrested Sung Yong Hong, 56 of Arbor lane Warminster in connection with the October 22, 2020 shooting that occurred outside his residence. On that date at about 1:45 am, the Warminster Police responded to 9-1-1 calls of shots fired in the area of the 600 block of Arbor Lane. Responding officers found Hong in his front yard. Hong was in possession of several firearms including a rifle. Investigation revealed that Hong indiscriminately discharged numerous rounds from a rifle striking several houses and vehicles causing significant damage. No one was injured. Hong was taken into custody without incident and transported to a medical facility for treatment. Hong has been charged with Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Structure (F3), Propulsion of Missiles onto Roadway (M1), Recklessly Endangering Another (M2-4 counts), Possession of Instrument of Crime (M1) and Criminal Mischief (F3). Hong was arraigned and ordered held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 10% bail.
