On June 3, 2020, the Warminster Police Department arrested Margaret Beringer 50 yoa of the 1700 block of Peach Street Philadelphia in connection with the May 31, 2018 death of Danyelle Kanavel 36 yoa in the 1200 block of Benn Lane Warminster. Beringer was charged with providing controlled substances which lead to Kanavel's death. Beringer voluntarily surrendered herself to police and was arrested without incident. Beringer was charged with Drug Delivery Resulting in Death, Involuntary Manslaughter, Delivery of a Controlled Substances, all felonies and several misdemeanor charges and released on unsecured bail. A hearing date has not been set.
