Passing of Retired Chief David Schultz

It is with heartfelt sympathy that the Upper Southampton Township Police Department announces the passing of retired Chief David Schultz on April 6, 2019.   Chief Schultz started his career with Upper Southampton in November of 1964 as a patrol officer.   He was the Chief of Police for 20 years.  

Chief Schultz was a native of the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia and a graduate of Lincoln High School.   He rose through the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant and then promoted to Chief of Police in 1989.    Chief Schultz was a graduate of the 136th session of the FBI National Academy.    He was also a past president of the Bucks County Police Chiefs Association.
