On 8/1/2017 at 0541 hours, officers responded to the 1200 block Mill Creek Circle for the report of a domestic dispute in progress. The caller reported that her 52 year old son Joseph Dubak was fighting with her husband and hitting him as well as acting very violent. Officers arrived on-scene and found Dubak and the father on the floor covered in blood from the fight. The father related that he was sleeping on the couch and heard someone banging on the doors and windows. When he got up, he found his son at the side door and he let him in. He stated his son began yelling about numerous things, became very hostile and picked up a kitchen chair then smashed it on the floor breaking one of the legs. The father stated Dubak then began swinging at him with closed fists and he attempted to deflect several punches by covering his head with his arms but was struck in the face numerous times.
Officers were able to take Dubak into custody as he was screaming obscenities at his parents and then escort him from the residence to a patrol vehicle. While being escorted to the patrol vehicle, Dubak attempted to pull away from officers while yelling obscenities at them. Additionally, Dubak rapidly raised his right knee and struck one of the officers in the groin. While Dubak was being secured in the rear of the patrol vehicle he attempted to spit blood from his mouth at one of the officer’s faces.
Dubak was later transported to Doylestown Hospital for treatment and numerous charges were filed against him with District Court.
