On Tuesday, December 5, 2017, Defendant Jayson Sia, surrendered to the Upper Makefield Township Police Department, to be arraigned on the charges of Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Theft, and Receiving Stolen Property.
On August 30, 2017, Upper Makefield Township Police responded to the Tradition's Community Clubhouse, located at 50 Beidler Drive, Washington Crossing, for the report of a burglary, not in progress. It was reported that numerous pieces of gym equipment had been stolen. The investigation revealed that Defendant Jayson Sia, who worked as a personal trainer, trained at the clubhouse with an individual who had resided within the Tradition's community. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Defendant Sia had used his clients gate passcode to gain entry into the gated community.
On September 3, the gym equipment was returned and left at the front of the clubhouse, two days after investigators spoke with Defendant Sia requesting the property be returned.
Jayson Sia was arraigned before Magisterial District Justice Petrucci. Bail was set at $20,000 unsecured.
