On December 5, 2021 Officers from the Upper Makefield Police Department were dispatched to a Domestic Disturbance incident that was in progress. The caller stated his girlfriend came home intoxicated and was destroying the house. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the victim who was outside with a white t- shirt and blood was observed seeping through the shirt. Officers advised the victim to stay outside as they entered the residence to speak to the other person involved.
Officers located an intoxicated female who was cleaning up broken Christmas ornaments from an overturned tree. The female was placed in handcuffs due to her erratic and dangerous behavior. Officers requested Medics for an evaluation of both parties as they both had open lacerations. Upon further investigation, Officers observed several bite marks on the victim’s body to which many broke the skin to cause bleeding.
Officers placed Maconaghy into custody and transported her to the Upper Makefield Township Police Department where she was processed and arraigned in front of Judge Gambardella. Maconaghy was released on bail and Criminal Charges are pending at this time.
