Route 413(Durham Road) is closed between Stump Road and CurlyHill Road due to a large tree down across the roadway after a traffic accident. Please use caution in the area and find an alternative route.

The Plumstead Township Police Department is currently investigating numerous theft from vehicle complaints in the Fox Hunt Development. If anyone has any video surveillance that would help with the investigation, please contact Officer Jeff Moffett at 215-766-8741 or jmoffett@plumstead.gov.

Plumstead Township Police are currently on Point Pleasant Pike at Silo Hill Road with low hanging wires across the roadway. Truck drivers please avoid the area. All other drivers please use caution in the area while our officers are directing traffic. 

On December 13, 2019, at approximately 5:00pm, the Plumstead Township Police department investigated a two vehicle traffic accident at Stump Road and Durham Road ( SR0413). As a result of the accident, one of the occupants had to be extricated from their vehicle using the jaws of life. Officer Stacie Arnosky is asking if anyone witnessed the crash to please call her at 215-766-8741 ext. 120 or at sarnosky@plumstead.gov.

If you are out traveling the roads in Plumstead Township, please use caution for BLACK ICE in several locations. Township road crews and Penndot have been notified and are in route to address the problem.

Stump Road is closed between Silo Hill Road and Worthington Road due to wires down across the roadway and trees on fire. Please use an alternate route.

The Plumstead Township Police Department is currently dealing with not having any telephone service at the Police Station. We are investigating reports of traffic light malfunctions in the Township as well as power outages. We are working with the Telephone Company and Peco to figure out the problem. If you need an officer to your location for any non-emergency incidents, please call the Bucks County Communications Center at 215-766-8740 or 911 for any emergencies.
