On August 27, 2018 at approximately 0334Hrs, Officers of the Plumstead Township Police department were dispatched to G2 computers, which is located in the Cross Keys shopping center of Plumstead Township, for the report of an audible alarm activated at the front glass break.
Upon arrival, Officers discovered that the front glass window was broken out and the interior storage room was ransacked. Other responding officers stopped a vehicle, which was driving in the opposite direction of G2 Computers, on North Easton road just north of Silo Hill road. While speaking to the driver, an officer recognized an item in the backseat that was similar to the one that was used about a month ago in a burglary at the same business.
Shortly after stopping the vehicle, the operator, who was identified as Michael White (DOB 5/27/1985), fled the scene. Officers pursued the vehicle into Quakertown, where they lost sight of the vehicle. Video surveillance shows that White's rental vehicle was at G2 computers when the burglary was committed. The current estimated value of theft is over $11,000.
White is currently on probation and parole for similar crimes in Georgia and Alabama, respectively.
