The Plumstead Township Police Department is warning residents that two men posing as electric workers distracted an elderly couple at their home in the 5200 block of Point Pleasant Pike on Saturday at approximately 11:00 AM.
Nothing was taken, but the men are also suspected in being involved in two separate burglaries in Buckingham and Bedminster Townships, Bucks County, and at least one attempted burglary in the City of Easton on Saturday at approximately 4:00 PM.
The two white men of average height were not wearing uniforms in the Plumstead incident, but the victim from the Bedminster incident reported one of the males was wearing a reflective construction style vest.
Easton Police said the men in their incident did not have proper identification and said one of the men tried to distract the resident while the other tried to get into the home.
Attached are images from the City of Easton incident, as well as the incident in Bedminster Township. The truck does not have any markings for a utility or private company.
If anyone can identify the males in these images or can identify the owner of the truck, please contact Plumstead Township Detectives or Detectives from the Buckingham and Bedminster Township Police Departments.
