On Friday, September 8, 2017, Plumstead Township Police responded to the 4900 block of River Road, for a threats complaint in progress. While in route to the scene, the caller indicated the actor fled from the scene. Plumstead Police checked the area and located a male subject matching the description and identified him as a Thomas McCarty (32) of Philadelphia.
Upon further investigation it was revealed McCarty, after having a dispute over a payroll debt, threatened his employer and other employees on scene with a pick-axe. McCarty then plunged the pick- axe into the front hood of his employer’s vehicle. McCarty was taken into custody and charged with Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, Harassment and Criminal Mischief. He was arraigned before Judge Seaman, then remanded to the Bucks County Prison in lieu of $50,000 at 10%.
