On November 23, 2017, Plumstead Township Officers had contact with Eric Craven during a traffic stop after they observed several motor vehicle violations. During the officer’s investigation, Craven provided the officer with a fraudulent name and date of birth to hide his identity from officers. While speaking with Craven, officers observed signs of intoxication. Craven was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and was transported to a local hospital where he agreed to a blood draw. The blood results later determined Craven’s blood alcohol was over the legal limit. He waived his right to a preliminary hearing and the charges were held for the Court of Common Pleas. Craven is currently awaiting his trial date.
