The Perkasie Borough Police Department wants your help in fighting crime by taking part in our Camera Registry Program. This voluntary program allows residents and business owners to register the locations of their video surveillance systems with the Perkasie Borough Police Department. This registry will enable our department to quickly identify the locations of nearby video cameras if a crime or suspicious incident occurs in your area.
A local resident reported being victimized by phone scam where caller posed as Apple Security. Please be careful of providing personal information over the phone. Please be aware that the number that appears on your caller identification can be manipulated, and may not be accurate. With Perkasie being a walkable town we want to ensure that our pedestrians remain safe. As a reminder we would like to advise motorists to be on the lookout for pedestrians and bicyclists. Title 75 Section 3542 of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code gives specific rights to pedestrians in crosswalks;
